Ingredients

1-2 medium sweet potatoes, washed and sliced into "French fry shaped wedges

Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Spices

You can use a variety of spices to achieve a savory taste, some of my favorites are: fresh garlic (or garlic powder), oregano, paprika, parsley, thyme
Directions

Preheat oven to 400oF

Place the washed and sliced sweet potatoes in a big bowl, adding in enough olive oil (or your oil of choice) to evenly coat them.

Add your salt, pepper, and spices. I suggest putting in 1-2 tsp of each spice into the bowl, tossing them around with the oiled potatoes, and adding more as you go along. Each potato wedge should have a light dusting of spices.

Place the potato wedges onto a sheet pan and bake for 15 mins. Take the pan out of the oven, flip the wedges over, and back for an additional 15-20 mins until browned on the outside and tender on the inside
