WELLNEST

The WellNest Housing Support Program connects students to community members with a history of homelessness who are transitioning into long-term housing.

There are two primary branches for volunteer engagement: the Longitudinal Tenancy Support Team and the Move-In Team. The Move-In Team volunteers serve as the "man-power" for move-in days occurring roughly twice per month and for acquisition of furniture. The Longitudinal Tenancy Support Team volunteers are paired up with another volunteer and a community member who has recently transitioned into housing and are responsible for checking in on the community member at least once a month (sometimes more often if needed) and supporting them through the transition into housing. These volunteers have a year-long commitment to their community partner.

Navigate to the link below to sign up as a WellNest Volunteer. We will contact you when there are moves and other volunteering opportunities to participate in.
